Before I begin, there was supposed to be a new TNA model photoset debut/upload earlier this week; there's been a shuffle with the order, and now it looks like Alison Set #2 and Desiree #1 will be next in the order. Kelly will be replaced by Tran.

A few weeks ago I had the horrible job (sarcasm, in case you can't tell) of photographing the beautiful Serena in the San Diego area. We went through a few different sexy looks which will be shown in a future blog post, but for now this will suffice.

Part of this shoot (and what may be a regular theme as add-ons to my sexy shoots) was a little bit of "product photography" -- to photograph Serena with these cute little stuffed aliens, called Rokuu, for creator/artist buddy Henry Liao. Henry could then use these photos to help promote the toys (because pretty models get people's attention, duh!).

Henry was actually on hand to take some behind the scene photos with his fancy Canon 5D III + 24-105mm/4.0 lens. In addition to the opening photo, here are some more shots from Henry's camera:

In the above, you can clearly see my simple lighting setup. Perfect since I'm too lazy to draw out a lighting diagram as I have usually done on this blog! The main light is a 28-inch Westcott Apollo softbox overhead and feathered downward in front of Serena. And a little circle of light behind her was just a speedlight with a 1/8 Honl grid attached and aimed at the curtains. Very simple, but when you're on the road and have limited hotel room space, simple is how you got to keep it for effective results.
