Earlier this year I had the opportunity to shoot another beautiful model named Kelly in Tennessee. We had access to the beautiful Swann Stables in the city of Sevierville, a vast property often booked for events and with a seemingly endless array of photoshoot possibilities.

Although Kelly and I shot a lot of different sets and themes, an unplanned opportunity for her to don a wedding dress came up in one of the beautiful, large rooms we had access to in the main house. The wedding dress was just hanging up in the room as a prop, and Kelly wanted to try it on to take a few fun shots. We just used the ambient lighting in the room that was provided by very large and tall windows. In these photos, the window was camera right just out-of-frame. Fill lighting provided by other windows in the room really gave her a nice soft look. All shot with my trusty old Olympus OMD-EM5, with the Panasonic-Leica Lumix 42.5mm/1.2 Nocticron lens, and all at 1/100 second, f/1.2, ISO 320:

I did hint that we were at Swann shooting for other things.
