Facelift and Hello!

Well here we go again.  For those of you keeping track, this is my fourth (and hopefully final) incarnation of my official website.  My first site waaaay back in early 2005 was launched with the help of friend/fan Debbie Donaghe, then morphed into other forms over the years with the additional help of Robb Miller and Jason Stern.

In recent years, my professional work has taken on increasingly more and more photography.  In what started off as a hobby years ago has now become second job as I struggle to juggle (that should be the name of my autobiography: Struggle to Juggle) freelance illustration (still mostly comics) and photography gigs, all while traveling around the country for gigs/appearances and taking the occasional cat nap here and there.  Because of this, I spawned another website to showcase just my photography.  But managing an art site, a photography site, a separate blog, a Facebook, and a Twitter was becoming quite the chore, and none of them were getting regular updates.

I thought it was now time to start with a clean slate, and integrate both my art and my photography all in one neat place (not to mention this blog).  I wanted a clean, simple look, and Squarespace seemed to be my solution for everything I needed (including easy integration of commerce among other perks).

Which takes me to this blog.  This will be the best way for my followers to get an updated glimpse into my life and into the real me.  Some posts will be art-centric, some posts will be photo-centric, some will be reviews of tools, some will be rants, and almost all will be silly!  :D

This will make it much easier for me to update regularly.  In fact I will try to update at least every other day if possible.  This new setup makes it so much easier.  Plus, I'm paying a damn pretty penny for the site/service, so I better do something with it. :P
